• The ruins and the beach share one ticket and one closing time: buy once, keep the ticket, and leave enough time to walk back before the gate shuts.
• Sunbeds and umbrellas are rented at the beach entrance only; the further west you walk, the quieter and cleaner it gets.
• Signed turtle nesting zones are off-limits; do not walk into roped areas and take all litter out.
• The east end of the beach collects litter and there is vehicle traffic on the sand at times: keep to the boardwalk and the marked paths.
• Village pansiyons are small and family-run; in July and August book ahead, and confirm whether the price includes breakfast.
• Cash matters in the village: carry lira in small notes for the toll gate, markets and dolmuş.
