Tulkarmطولكرم
Tulkarm is a half-day stop between Nablus and the coast: see the archaeological museum and the old church, then move on. One night only if you have business in the city.
Tulkarm sits on the border between the West Bank and Israel, 15 km west of Nablus. Its main draw is the Tulkarm Archaeological Museum, housed in an Ottoman post office, and the historic Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George. The city also has a refugee camp and is surrounded by settlements. Most travellers pass through on the way to Nablus or Jenin.
