• The Fernpass jams badly on summer weekends and at the start and end of German school holidays; travel midweek if you can.
• Tyrol runs anti-rat-run driving bans on minor roads in the Reutte and Imst districts on weekends and public holidays, roughly May–November, 07:00–19:00.
