Tra VinhTrà Vinh
Skip unless you have a specific interest in Khmer pagodas or a quiet Mekong Delta town: half a day is enough, and the beach is a 30-min ride away.
Tra Vinh is a small Mekong Delta city with a Khmer cultural layer and a few pagodas, but no major sights. Most travellers pass through on the way to Ben Tre or Can Tho. The centre is walkable; a motorbike opens up the province and a beach that locals rate as one of the delta's best.
