Hogenakkal
Hogenakkal is a half-day stop for the coracle ride and waterfalls, not a base: arrive by 9 am, leave by sunset. One night only if you stay at the TTDC hotel or Gopinatham.
Hogenakkal is a set of waterfalls on the Kaveri River in Tamil Nadu, about 45 km from Dharmapuri. The main activity is a coracle ride through the rapids and pools. The town has limited accommodation and few services; most visitors come from Bangalore or Dharmapuri for a day trip.
