Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (still called Mhow) is a small garrison town in western Madhya Pradesh, best known for the seasonal Patalpani waterfall and as a rail junction on the scenic Indore–Khandwa line. Most travellers stop for a few hours on the way to Omkareshwar or Mandu.
