Borgang
Skip Borgang unless you have a spare half-day in Upper Assam and want to see a tea garden village and a broken bridge. Not worth a detour.
Borgang is a small village in Biswanath district, Assam, known for its tea gardens and the half-broken bridge over the Borgang River. It offers a glimpse of rural Assamese life and food, but has no major sights or accommodation. Most travellers pass through on the way to or from Majuli, Sibsagar or Jorhat.
