Michalovce is a small eastern Slovak town on Lake Sirava, near the Ukrainian border. Its main draw is the lakeside recreation area and nearby nature reserves; the town itself offers basic accommodation and a modest selection of restaurants. One night covers the lake, a quick walk to the football stadium and a night in a budget hotel.
