Tara
Spend a half‑day in Tara for the castle ruins, hot spring and a short hike; stay only if you camp near Mount Tara.
Tara is a small peninsula town in Saga Prefecture with limited transport. Its main draws are Takezaki Castle ruins, a hot‑spring, Shirahama beach and Mount Tara. A few hours suffice; overnight only for camping.
