Safety
- Do not drive into the old town: the alleys are narrow and parking is at the edge.
- Bus 301 from Palma continues to Port de Pollença but you cannot ride it just for that section.
- Bus 334 turns back at Formentor beach from October to March and does not reach the cape.
- Puig de Maria nunnery is closed; you climb for the hike and views, not the building.
- Summer heat and exposed walking on the Formentor headland: carry water.
