Half a day is enough: visit the flower fields near Khirai between January and March, then leave. No need to stay overnight.
Panskura is a small town on the Kangsabati River in West Bengal, known for the seasonal flower fields around Khirai village — often called the 'Valley of Flowers' of the state. The main draw is a short walk through marigold, chrysanthemum and gladiolus fields from January to March. Most visitors come from Kolkata as a day trip or a quick stop en route to Digha or Mandarmani.
