Tapak Tuan
Stop for one night if you're driving the west coast of Sumatra: the town's main draw is the giant's footprint walk and coastal promenade, doable in 2–3 hours.
Tapak Tuan is a small west-coast town in Aceh, set between mountains and sea. Its main sight is a 10-minute coastal walk to a giant footprint in the rocks. Most travellers use it as a one-night stop on the west Sumatra route, not a destination.
