Keşan
Skip Keşan town itself: use it as a crossroads for one night, or base at the Saros Bay beaches (Erikli, Sultaniçe) for 2–3 nights in summer.
Keşan is a highway town at the junction of the roads to the Greek border, Edirne, Gallipoli and Istanbul. The town square is modern and there is little to see, but 20 km south the Gulf of Saros coast has small beach resorts with clear, cold water. Come for the coast, not the town.

Getting around
You need your own wheels. Village dolmuşes run into Keşan in the morning and back in the evening; there is no useful coastal bus service. The bus station is on D550 at the north edge of town, 2 km from the centre.
