Cape Pembroke Lighthouse marks the eastern end of Stanley Harbour; it is one of the tallest in the islands (check the current status and any access rules).
The land is flat and open, with sand dunes and shoreline: wind is constant and there is no shelter.
Gentoo penguins, Magellanic penguins, elephant seals and sea lions may be around Yorke Bay depending on season; ask your driver.
The gravel track is best with a 4x4; some sections flood after rain (check).
Bring a hot drink and lunch: there are no facilities.
