Sant Pere Pescador is a small beach-and-camping town on the Bay of Roses, at the mouth of the Fluvià river and the southern edge of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà wetlands. There is no train station and no old-town hotel cluster: most visitors sleep in one of the big campgrounds behind the dunes, or in a handful of small hotels. Two or three nights covers the beach, the river mouth and the bird reserve; add nights only if you are windsurfing or kitesurfing, because the bay is one of the windiest stretches of the Costa Brava.

Getting around
Walk inside the village and cycle to the beach: most campgrounds rent bikes and the ride to the sand takes 5–15 minutes. There is no train station; the nearest is Sant Miquel de Fluvià, about 9 km away, with regional trains. Buses along the coast are few, so a car or bike is the practical way to reach Figueres, L'Escala and the wetlands.
