Mineralnye Vody is a small town in Stavropol Krai, best known as the transport hub for the Caucasus Mineral Waters region. Its own sights are limited to a few parks and literary landmarks; most travellers pass through en route to Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk or the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria. Half a day covers the town; one night is enough if you arrive late.
