Casa Grande sits roughly halfway between Phoenix and Tucson on I-10, about 42 mi (68 km) north of Tucson and 42 mi (68 km) south of Phoenix Sky Harbor. It is a commuter and agricultural town, not a sightseeing base: the main draw, Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, is 20 mi (32 km) northeast in Coolidge. Most travellers use it as a one-night stop or a half-day break on the drive.

You need a car. Casa Grande is spread along I-10 and the town grid; the LINK curb-to-curb transit service started in 2023 but coverage is limited. Greyhound stops at Love's Travel Stop off Exit 200 with no local onward transport, so arrange a taxi or rideshare in advance.
