Gelders Arcadië
Spend 1–2 days visiting castles, the Veluwezoom park and local B&Bs; a day trip from Arnhem or a two‑night stay works well.
Gelders Arcadië is a compact estate‑rich area between the Veluwezoom dunes and the IJssel river. Its castles, forest trails and heritage rail can be seen in a single day, but staying two nights lets you bike between sites and enjoy the park at a relaxed pace.
