Wazirabad
Spend a half‑day in Wazirabad to see the cutlery market and Alexandra Railway Bridge; add a full day if you want to explore the old bazar and historic sites.
Wazirabad, known as the City of Cutlery, lies on the N‑5 highway about 30 km north of Gujranwala. Its main attractions – the historic Alexandra Railway Bridge, the 2 km long Main Bazar and a few colonial‑era monuments – are clustered near the river and can be seen in a few hours. A day allows a relaxed walk, a visit to local cutlery workshops and a short stop at the Dak Chowki monument.
