There is no train or bus, so it works as a road-trip overnight on US 395 or OR 140, not as a destination you fly to. You need a car. Downtown is walkable in 10–15 minutes, but the airport, ski hill, Goose Lake and trailheads are all outside town. Streets are numbered east–west and lettered north–south, with compass directions inside the address, so read the full address before driving.
