Wagah is a border town on the Pakistan‑India frontier, famous for the daily flag‑raising ceremony. It is reachable in about an hour from Lahore, and the ceremony plus a quick walk around the border area fits comfortably into a half‑day visit. No hotels exist in Wagah; most travellers stay in Lahore and return after the ceremony.
