Neijiang sits on the Chengdu‑Chongqing high‑speed line, making it a quick side‑trip from either city. Its main draws are historic stone archways, Buddhist temples and lakeside recreation, all reachable within an hour of the city centre. One day covers the top sights; a second night adds a relaxed visit to Daqian Garden or the Southern Sichuan Grassland.
