Manchester is a small Coffee County town on Interstate 24 between Nashville and Chattanooga, best known as the home of the Bonnaroo festival each June. Outside festival week it is a quiet overnight stop: Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park is the one sight worth planning around, and Cumberland Caverns is a longer detour east near McMinnville. Two nights covers both at an easy pace; one night is enough if you only want the fort.
