Page is a small Arizona town of about 7,200 people that sits between two of the Southwest's biggest draws: Antelope Canyon, a Navajo Tribal Park you can only enter on a guided tour, and Lake Powell, the reservoir behind Glen Canyon Dam. Almost everything here is outdoors, timed or ticketed, and reached by car. Two nights covers the core; three if you add a boat or a float trip. Summer heat and flash-flood closures are the two things that change plans.

Getting around
You need a car. US 89 runs through town north–south; AZ 98 heads southeast. Antelope Canyon trailheads, Horseshoe Bend and the dam are 5–20 min by car. There is no useful public transit for visitors; taxis and rideshare are limited, so plan around your own vehicle or a tour pickup.

- Slot canyons flood: tours stop after rain upstream, sometimes for months. Never enter a slot canyon when rain is forecast.
