Minab
Half a day is enough: see the Thursday bazaar, eat fresh seafood and leave for Qeshm, Hormuz or Bandar Abbas.
Minab is a working fishing and farming town 25 km from the Gulf of Oman, best known for its lively Thursday bazaar run mostly by women. Most travellers pass through on the way to Qeshm Island or Hormuz. The town itself has a handful of sights — mud volcanoes, a ruined castle, mangrove forests — that fill a morning or an afternoon. Accommodation is limited; most visitors sleep in Bandar Abbas or on Qeshm.

Getting around
Minab is compact enough to walk between the bazaar and the main square. For sights outside town (mud volcanoes, mangroves, Hezareh Castle) you need a private taxi or a hired driver. Road 91 connects Minab to Bandar Abbas and Jask.
