Do a half‑day visit from Chengdu for tea fields and lakes; skip if you need more time for other Sichuan sights.
Pujiang County, about 80 km southwest of Chengdu, offers tea‑plantation scenery, lakes and a historic ancient town. A half‑day to a full day is enough to see the main sights; longer stays are only for tea‑culture enthusiasts.
