  Best Jan–Apr; southwest monsoon (habagat) Jun–Oct makes island-hopping rough; Coron more sheltered.

• Mindanao (north and Siargao) · Siargao, Camiguin, Cagayan de Orofine

  Mostly outside the typhoon belt; Siargao is wettest Nov–Feb and best for surf Sep–Nov.
