Luzon is the Philippines' biggest island and holds most of the country's people, its capital and its main gateway airport. It is not one destination: Metro Manila is a dense city region, the Cordilleras are cool mountain country, Ilocos is heritage coast, Bicol is volcanoes and spicy food. Pick one or two clusters and fly or bus between them rather than trying to loop the whole island.
