Maseru is a low-rise, spread-out capital along one main axis. The central business area and Kingsway run east–west, the newer hotel and mall area is on Pioneer Road and Maseru West, and the Maseru Bridge border post is at the western end of town. Everything is a short drive; only Kingsway and the Pioneer Road area are walkable, and only by day.
