Overview
Majuro is a ring of narrow islets about 50 km long, with one road from Laura in the west to Delap, Uliga and Darrit, the capital's built-up east end. Everything a short visit needs sits along that road, so the questions are which end to sleep at and whether to spend a day on the western beach. Flights are few, water is limited and cash is the rule outside the hotels.

- Don't confuse
- Majuro is both the atoll and the capital; the built-up part is Delap–Uliga–Darrit (DUD) at the eastern end. Kwajalein Atoll, with its US Army base, is a separate stop on the island-hopper and is closed to visitors.
