Lufeng, a county‑level city in Central Yunnan, is famous for its dinosaur fossils. The main attractions – the Lufeng Dinosaur Museum and World Dinosaur Valley – are close to the town centre and can be visited in a single day. A short trip to the historic town of Heijing adds cultural variety. One night in a downtown hotel is sufficient for most travellers.
