Kotor by district
A first visit is four small areas in a line along the head of the bay: the old town inside the walls, the fortress trail on the hill behind it, the market and shore outside the Sea Gate, and Dobrota, the waterfront strip to the north.

Streets have names but the old town is easier by landmarks: give a taxi the Sea Gate car park, not a lane.
