Half a day is enough for Korba: see the fort and waterfall, then move on to Bilaspur or Mainpat. Not a base.
Korba is Chhattisgarh's power hub, surrounded by forests and tribal villages. The main draw is Chaithurgarh Fort, a hilltop fort with natural walls, and Dev Pahari Waterfall. Most travellers pass through on the way to Bilaspur or Mainpat.
