Haroaহাড়োয়া
Haroa is a half-day stop for the Pir Gorachand Dargah, best combined with nearby towns like Taki or Basirhat. One night only if you want to explore the rural Sundarbans fringe.
Haroa is a small town in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, known for the shrine of Pir Gorachand (Gorai Ghazi). The town itself has little else for tourists, but the dargah and the surrounding riverine landscape offer a quiet cultural detour from Kolkata. Most visitors come for a few hours by bus or train and move on.
