Half a day for Sendra island and Loktak Lake, or a full day if you add Keibul Lamjao National Park. Overnight only if you want sunrise on the lake.
Bishnupur is the gateway to Loktak Lake, India's largest freshwater lake in the northeast, and the only floating national park in the world. The town itself is small; the reason to come is the lake, the phumdis (floating vegetation) and the endangered sangai deer. Most visitors come from Imphal, 48 km north, as a day trip.
