Warren is a small Mahoning River city in northeast Ohio, about 50 mi (80 km) from Cleveland and next to Youngstown. Its draw is a compact downtown square, two niche museums (Packard cars, Neil Armstrong's first flight) and cheap, plain-spoken food. It works as a half-day or one-night stop on a Youngstown-Cleveland run, not as a destination on its own.

Getting around

A car is the practical choice: sights are spread over 3–4 mi and buses are thin. Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) runs local buses from the downtown transit center; check current routes and times before relying on them. Downtown itself is walkable in 15 minutes end to end.
