Vienna by district
Vienna has 23 districts (Bezirke), numbered outward from the centre. This guide uses four working areas: the Innere Stadt (1st) old centre, the Ringstrasse museums, the Naschmarkt and Karlsplatz area (4th and 6th), and Schönbrunn in the 13th. Two sleep areas cover most visitors.
