Utah is five national parks plus the best ski snow in the US, spread over 500 km of desert and mountain. You cannot see it from one hotel. Pick two bases: the southwest corner (Zion, Bryce) and the southeast (Moab for Arches and Canyonlands), or swap one for a Wasatch ski week in winter. Fly into Salt Lake City (SLC) or Las Vegas (LAS) — LAS is closer to Zion.
