Tampin

Half a day is enough: hike Mount Tampin in the morning, see the Gurdwara, then take the train. Sleep one night only if you need the Pulau Sebang-Tampin rail stop for Malacca.

Tampin is a small town in Negeri Sembilan and the rail gateway to Malacca: Pulau Sebang-Tampin station sits about 2.5 km from the town centre. The town itself is thin on sights, so most travellers pass through for a half-day hike up Mount Tampin and a look at the Sikh temple, or stay one night to catch an early train.
