The Space Coast is Brevard County: over 70 mi (113 km) of Atlantic barrier island plus the mainland behind the Indian River Lagoon. Two things pull people here — Kennedy Space Center and rocket launches on the north end, and the beach towns from Cocoa Beach south to Melbourne Beach. The county is long and thin, so a car is close to essential; buses exist but cross-county trips run 1–2 hours. Give it 2–4 nights: one full day for Kennedy Space Center, one beach day, and rearrange everything if a launch is scheduled.
