- Bar tables narrow the lane further in the evening.

A line of history
Kampong Glam was set aside for the Malay and Muslim community in the 19th century, and Haji Lane's name is linked to the pilgrims who passed through on their way to Mecca. After the shophouses were restored, the lane filled with independent boutiques from the 2000s.
