Santa Fe is a small mountain town of about 3,200 people in Veraguas, serving as a base for nearby hikes and waterfalls. The town is walkable, has several cheap hostels and a few restaurants, and is reachable by minibus from Santiago de Veraguas (≈50 km). One to two days cover the main sights and a day hike.
