Russas
Spend a half‑day in Russas as a stopover on the BR‑116 corridor; one night if you need cheap lodging before heading to Fortaleza.
Russas is a small agricultural town in eastern Ceará, 170 km from Fortaleza on the main BR‑116 highway. It offers a brief taste of local life, a river swim and inexpensive inns, but few dedicated attractions. One half‑day to see the square and river, plus a night if you need a budget base before continuing north or south.
