Getting around

The centre is small enough to walk between the station, the river quarter and the museums. Orange trams and buses cover the rest; buy the ticket in a kiosk, supermarket or app before boarding, because paying cash or card on board costs about twice as much. Taxis and app cars (TaxiKurir, Bolt, Uber) work from the station.

Norrköping is generally safe, including on foot at night. Use normal precautions, skip the bigger parks after dark, and expect noisy drunks on Drottninggatan and Kungsgatan at weekends; physical confrontations are rare.
