Omu-Aran is a small Igbomina Yoruba town in Kwara State and the headquarters of Irepodun local government, with a population of about 14,000. It has no developed tourist circuit: the draw is Landmark University, the town's market and craft life, and its position on the road between Ilorin and the Ekiti and Kogi borders. Most travellers pass through rather than stay.
