Pasacao

Skip unless you have a specific reason: the brown-sand beaches and Daruanak Island are a half-day trip from Naga, not a destination on their own.

Pasacao is a small port town on the northwestern coast of Camarines Sur, known locally as the 'Summer Capital' for its long stretch of brownish sand beaches and the 200-metre Daruanak Island just offshore. The town is a transit point for ferries to Burias Island (Masbate) and has a handful of beach resorts, but the beaches are not exceptional by Philippine standards and the town itself has limited dining and accommodation. Most travellers use it as a quick side trip from Naga or a stop on the way to Masbate.
