Boissevain is a town of about 1,500 people in Manitoba's Prairie Mountain region, 20 minutes north of the International Peace Garden border crossing. Its sights are compact and mostly outdoors: a 28-foot turtle statue with three small museums beside it, 20 painted murals, and Turtle Mountain Provincial Park 21 km south. It works as a one-night stop on a Brandon–North Dakota run, not as a destination on its own.
