Afton is a small town (population about 570) on US 89 in Star Valley, southwest Wyoming. Its main draw is the Elkhorn Arch — the world's largest elk-antler arch — spanning the highway downtown. Most travellers pass through in 30–60 minutes; there is no reason to stay overnight unless you are using it as a quiet stop on a road trip between Grand Teton National Park and Logan, Utah.
