Saki townShaki
Go only as a one-night stop on the Ibadan–Ilorin road: the palace and Thursday market are the draw, and there is little else for a tourist.
Saki (also spelled Shaki) is a Yoruba town in northern Oyo State, roughly 1 h 50 min by road from Ibadan and close to the Ofiki River headwaters. It is a working market town, not a resort: one palace, three weekly markets and a handful of basic hotels. Come for a night if you are already crossing this part of Oyo State; do not build a trip around it.
