Ibajay
Skip Ibajay unless you have a specific reason: the mangrove park and Paeantawan viewpoint are half-day stops on a drive between Kalibo and Boracay.
Ibajay is a quiet Aklan municipality with the Philippines' densest mangrove concentration (Katunggan it Ibajay) and a WWII viewpoint at Paeantawan. Most travellers pass through on the way to Boracay or Kalibo. The Ati-Ati festival in January adds colour, but the town has limited accommodation and dining.
